River Lodge is located in the Lower
Nushagak River just upstream of
Portage Creek, a short float plane
ride from Dillingham which is
included in your package.
Dillingham, Alaska is located 350
miles southwest of Anchorage.
Owned and operated by Nushagak River
Adventures this is the only true
lodge experience on the lower
Nushagak River. Accommodations
include comfortable beds, plus
gourmet meals and world class
fishing guides make this a great
fishing experience.
The Nushagak River in Alaska boasts
major runs of King, Red, Silver,
Chum and Pink Salmon along with
trophy-sized Rainbow. With over
165,000 King Salmon a year it is
Alaska's largest King Salmon run.
You
will fish
the Nushagak River or choose an
option to fly out
to
a remote location for kings,
silvers, or sockeye salmon. If
you have been dreaming about hooking
and landing a double digit trout,
fighting a monster king salmon or
playing the acrobatic silver salmon
this is the place.
The
lodge consists of comfortable heated
rooms in the main bunkhouse with hot
showers, satellite TV and satellite
internet. Bedrooms in the lodge can
accommodate 2 to 4 anglers. You
will enjoy a hot breakfast in the
morning with lunch at the lodge, or
sack lunch at the river followed by
freshly prepared dinners that
include Halibut, Shrimp, Pork Chops,
Steaks or Chicken.
