Seward Fishing Charters

Some of the best Halibut, silver Salmon, Lingcod and Sea Bass fishing in the world is offered in Seward.  Your experienced Captain will choose which areas and species offer the best fishing for the day so you can spend your time on the various boats reeling in the "Big Ones"!

We offer 75 charter boats in the Seward fleet.  The final selection of boat will depend on availability, weather and type of trip.  Most boats range from 28 to 33 feet and hold up to 6 passengers there are heads on board all our boats and fishing is done on the back deck.  There is inside seating out of the weather for all passengers on the full and half day.

Clients will fish for Halibut, Sea Bass, Lingcod and Salmon. In early July to the end of August, the Silver Salmon are running and can be very exciting. Food is not included, but there is complementary coffee is available on some but not all boats.  The client needs to bring warm outdoor gear, raingear, fishing license, beverages and lunch. No alcohol is allowed on any of the boats.  Fishing licenses are available in Anchorage and the day before in Seward.  There are no children’s rates. Children must be 8 years or older or obtain prior approval from the operator.

Fish processing and shipping is available to the client at an additional of expense of $3.50-$4.25 per net pound processed. All day parking is available across the street in the public parking lot at a cost of $5.00 per day. Please do not guarantee which boat they will go out on. Weather, captain’s success, break downs, passenger make up, and previous bookings are all factored in when assigned boats. Please be sure they check in the day before so we can advise them on weather and sea conditions so they can dress properly for the trip. Although your customer may look at our web site and see cheaper pricing i.e. web specials etc. than you’re offering, we use only the top boats, a better trip, more experienced captains, and are more reliable.

What to Wear & Bring:
Due to unpredictable Alaskan weather, we advise dressing in layers, which will allow you to stay warm and dry as the outdoor environment changes. You'll also need to bring rain gear, a warm jacket, sweater, hat, gloves, an Alaska fishing license, lunch, and drinks. The local staff can assist in ordering lunches in advance so they are fresh the morning you depart on your trip.
